A few days ago, I posted a question on my water system issues

SO, here is the latest on my Water System issue:
1. I cleaned out the water tank with bleach and water mixture then ran that water out of the tank and refilled it. Water appears clean now
2. We changed the water pump with a brand new pump

AFTER doing the above two items, the pump STILL RUNS and the system is filled with aeration still. Air and water come out of the faucets and the pump continues to run and wont shut off

I need solution here

did you open every single faucet on the boat ? Engine room ? bow/anchor wash down? swim platform shower? the showers in head ? etc ?

If it was a small leak on the discharge side of the pump, it would cycle on and off and you would have water somewhere that it doesn't belong. If it is leaking on the suction side of he pump there will be no water leaking out, only air leaking in. The pump will run almost continuously and the water coming out of the tap will spit and spurt because of the compressed air. I have had this happen a couple of times when installing a bypass valve to draw antifreeze into the suction side of the pump. When the bypass is not completely sealed off, the system operates exactly as you describe. It could be a small hole in the line from freshwater tank to the pump or a poor seal at one of the fittings. The trouble is that since it is drawing air into the line there is no way to visually identify the problem. In my opinion this is good news, you only have 1 line to correct and it's probably less than 10 feet long.

340DA, I noticed that you have double posted this question/problem. FYI, most of the people on here, when they log in an are looking for new threads will use the "New Threads-24 hours" button at the top. So this means if you post your question on any of the threads it will come up. If you post it in two threads it comes up twice and you kinda look a bit...well, you get my point.

I had the same problem. Open ALL faucets ALL of the way. Let the system run. It may take 5 minutes for the pump to work out all of the air and build pressure.

I had a similar issue right after replacing my water pump. Turned out the pump had a pressure set screw that was set to high. The pump could never hit that high of a pressure so it never stopped and the water comming from the faucet was super aerated. Thought I had an air leak somewhere too. I had to adjust the screw to a lower pressure and all was fixed.
