Launched Friday and filled water tank, water pump ran and then sounded very weak and no water pressure at faucets. There must be a shut off valve I’m missing, any help is appreciated.

It was posted a while back that some boats have a shut off valve between the tank and the pump. I’ve not had a sea ray with this, but some do, and I thought it may have even been 400/410’s that thread came up about.

After your fresh water do you have something like this?

If you do, after turning off the pump, you can remove the input to the manifold to see if there is water and go from there.

Also as a long shot, check that the pressure relief valve on the water heater hasn’t been left open and the pump is just pumping water overboard through there.

I've got a shutoff to port near the transom. Right by a screen filter that should be serviced occasionally.
That said - if my tank goes completely empty it takes quite a while with a 2-3 faucets open to get all the air out. Like 30 minutes of running...

I don't want to sound presumptuous but Im just wondering if you realize that your fresh water pump might need to be primed (get air out of line) in order to produce flow....especially if your water tank was completely empty over the winter and you just refilled it?

Found the issue, the individual replacing the A/C unit in the stateroom shut the valve off(after i had all of them already opened), and he forgot to open or mention that he shut it. No worries as mistakes happen and I should of double checked everything as I told him.
