Water pressure sensor

Good Morning,
I am having a problem with my water pressure sensor beeping and reading FAULT.
It does not happen all the time on both engines, but one at a time on occasions.
Any suggestions on what is causing this, and what damage could happen it engines continue to run?

The Boat is a 300 Sundancer w/ Twin 5.0 MPI Mercrusiers

Thanks for the quick response.
It appears that this is a ongoing problem with the design.
I will contact the local Sea Ray dealer and see if it is covered
on my extended coverage. At least I will try.
If not will take apart sea strainer and clean.

Had the same problem earlier this year. Dealer repaired and had no problem until last weekend. Same story.
They are supposed to be out today to replace it. I will let you know what happens.

After I cleaned the strainer no issues. But, this is something that just started to develop, so I'll monitor the behaviour before calling the dealer.
