I have recently purchased a 2006 290 Sundancer and noticed the water pressure in the head faucet and galley is lower than the cockpit faucet. The head faucet that doubles as the shower head doesn't even give much of a spray...more like a dribble. I have disassembled the handle and cleaned the components, but it is still low pressure. Is there a pressure regulator on that water line that feeds the head and galley that the cockpit sink would not be affected by?

sounds like a kink in the line or aerators clogged remove from pump and backflush

Jerry,
I've never heard of a regulator other than the one that regulates shore water pressure. Thats not to say there isn't one, but I don't think so. I'm guessing you've cleaned the screen in the galley faucet. That being said, there is a screen/strainer at the pump and the pump itself can be adjusted. You probably knew this. Hope this helps.

ps... See you this weekend! They are calling for 70 degrees!

Maybe the water manifold valve not fully opened ?

Maybe a kink in the soft tubing on the way to the tap?

I will check those things this coming weekend. Thanks for all the replies...I'll let you know what I find.
