Anybody else have problems with SR fresh water lines leaking? I've had to loosen a few water lines (fresh water system) for various reasons, and can never get them to stop leaking when put back together. Does anyone know where to find the white rubber "grommets" that go in the water line fittings? I've tried plumbing stores, home stores, Worst Marine, etc. I'm avoiding going directly to SR for the obvious reasons, but it looks like I might have to. The boat's an '05 320, BTW.

Thanks.

I had the same problem when I got the boat 5 years ago. Went to all the above stores with no luck. Are you ready? I found thm in a RV store. I took all he had I think it was 12. Yes a RV parts store. They are a smaller type O ring.
Good luck. Most likely cheaper than SR.

I had the same problem as did several others here on CSR. The only place you can get those washers is at your Sea Ray dealer. I installed new washers and found that didn't always do the job anyway. My solution was to eliminate the screw connectors and washers altogether and use brass fittings along with screw clamps. Here was my original post on the subject. http://clubsearay.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6463&highlight=desired

I had the same exact issue this year when doing my spring commissioning. My Sea Ray dealer had 150 of the "cone" gaskets in stock. I bought them last Wednesday for $1.45 each from them (cheapest part I've ever purchased for the boat, but in reality they probably should retail for $.25). Apparently they lose quite a few of them each year bypassing hot water heaters for winterization. Anyway, even after installing the new gaskets I still had a slight leak on two fittings (both hot water). After turning on the hot water heater they sealed and have stayed sealed even with the heater off. I'm guessing this wouldn't help much if it's your cold water lines leaking.

Thanks for all the feedback. I've found them at the SR dealer...$2.00 each! I know it's only $2.00, but as bmac said, they should be cents! I'll try this weekend and see what happens. I somehow have a feeling it's going to continue to leak, but we'll see.
