Reading a few posts and noticing the issue of side windows leaking on this model. We definately have that and are in the process of fixing but I am wondering if anyone that has one of these boats have issues with windshield leaks and/or leaks around the base of the air horn? If so, any good info on repairing?

With regard to the windshield, pull the weather strip/seal from the base between the frame and glass. Be sure you have a replacement strip if the one you pull out is hard and brittle. You will see a series of stainless screws that hold the frame to the deck. Carefully remove each screw, one at a time, squirt some high quality marine silicone sealant into the screw hole and replace the screw. Don't remove more than one screw at a time or the frame might begin to pull away from the deck. Repeat this for each screw then re-install the rubber seal.

The air horn is pretty much the same deal except you may elect to carefully remove the horn from the deck surface to get at all of the penetrations at once.

All of this is tedious and time consuming but should prevent any further leaks in that area.

The last owner had leaks around the air horn. He stuck wooden dowels in the holes and cut the horn off. IT also seemed the horn was not working. The way he fixed it cause water and now mold in the headliner.

The wooden dowels soaked with water and still was leaking below. I took my dremel ground back the gel coat and down into the wooden dowels. I filled the hole with marine tex. When I mix up a batch of gel goat with west 404 powder to make a paste, I will fix the surface flush to the rest and mount the new air horn.
