I have a 2002 340AJ, and about 2005 I started to notice water accumulate in the dry storage compartment in the salon floor. I thought it was condensation at first, but it continued to leak in. After I would dry it out, it might be a few months before I would see any more. Other times, it would return the next day. Now years later, I am finding out that there was substantial water trapped in several under floor compartments. We suspect from a faulty/clogged ac drain pan line that allowed this water to drain to the bottom of the salon area, not to the sump.

Has anyone else experienced this, and what was the resolution. I am faced with an expensive repair now and feel that Sea Ray should have known about this flaw. Any insight?

I have an 2003 280 and have noticed water under my AC , shower drainage container. I have cleaned the container and the bilges work fine in it. I have not been able to locate the leak but the more the AC runs, the more water I find. I would also appreciate some help in this matter.

I had a similar issue with mine. I found and intermittently bad float switch inside the sump assembly. After replacing the switch the pump motor worked fine but was not moving water. I found the discharge hose was clogged, I removed the hose a stuffed the dock water hose onto it and blew out the crud, then I washed down my dock neighbors hull. That fixed my issue.
If you want to see where your water is coming from, next time it's bone dry why not run the dock water hose to the ac pan and let it drip at a high rate for a few hours and see what happens? If it's dry remove the hose and turn on the AC and let it run. If you see water with the dock hose on and ac off, it's the condensation drain from the AC pan to the sump box leaking. If you see water while the AC is running I would suspect a leaking hose or hose connection between the AC water pump and ac unit or even a hole in the AC pan itself.
Of course the obvious suspects would be loose or defective hose connections at the sump box or even a hairline crack on the sump box itself. I would check that first if you have not done so already.

I'm sure the other posters have nailed your problem but just to be sure I had a problem with water in my underbunk storage locker and on the floor below the galley. It turned out to be the sealant around the port nav light had finally failed. Water was running down behind the hull lining and found its way past the fresh water storage tank, wicked into the carpet and kept heading south. I fixed that only to have another leak a few weeks later and it was coming from the sealant around the fresh water filler cap (right next to the port nav light) and it was taking the same route.

Be sure to also check the drain for your shower...

I really interested in these leaks, because I have one. I don't have an AC tho. But I'm in salt, and I have a fresh water leak that I'm sure must be rain water, and I can NOT figure out where it's coming from. I better start a new thread though. But it is under the starboard side flooring in the engine compartment, where it's raised next to the engine, where it was squooshing so I cut out some of the FRP and foam, and now mop it out just about every day unless it's summer/dry. Man I have taped stuff up (rear vents), covered stuff (window on that side), and haven't found it yet.. This summer it's a hose from bottom up until I find it..
