Congrats on the new boat! With regard to the pics, you can use photobucket and post an IMG link. Next on your list is the late 90's 270 Sundancer forum: http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/1786-Late-90-s-270-Sundancer-Thread

With regard to the beam of the boat, be careful, in many areas you need a special permit to tow it. I don't even have a trailer for mine because of it.

As to your original question, I am not sure where you are seeing the leak show up. My ports are leaking (getting rebedded this spring), but the water tends to travel down along the sides of the boat. I suspect that you may have a windshield leak. You can find all sorts of info on it in the thread.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Check the tightness of the tabs that hold the ports closed. That's where mine leaked.

Make sure the screens are out of the windows. I was told always take the screens out before latching up windows, otherwise they will leak. Sure enough, I tried it and this advice proved correct.

in mine screens are part of window and do not come out.I would like to know how window comes out cause i took out screws both sides will not budge. Im wondering if the bolts that hold tabs have to come out as well?

Hmm, not sure on that. On my 2000 270DA, the screens are made to easily pop in/out.

Mine do not pop out and are integral to the gasket. I got new gaskets, and the screens do pop out on those. Good to know I can't leave them in place.

That being said, I am still not sure the water is coming from your windows.

With regard to taking them out, mine are secured from the inside with machine screws, and the outside is only a trim (and I am sure initial water barrier for the nuts. To disassemble mine, I removed the screws holding the outer trim, put a wrench on the nuts, a screwdriver on the machine screws, and removed them. Mine could have been redone, but I suspect it was factory.
