Hi,
I still can't figure out what this input is for. Already have fresh water in back hatch by shore power.
maybe another fresh water hookup to run with on board pump?

Thanks!

Check for a flush kit on the engine - it could be the inlet for that. Just get under there and check if you can find a hose coming from that area and see where it leads you.

yes thanks, i thought it might be a flush kit.. do they normally have enough pressure to use for an everyday flush out if boat stays in the water?
original owner is unreachable.

Hi,
Definitely a flush kit coupling.
should this be run with engine off since boat stays in the water?
can't find any instructions on best way to use it.
thanks.

Typically, you cannot flush the motor while it's in the water. The intention is to flush while on the trailer after salt water use.

You might check your water inlet to your belt driven water pump and see if it has a ball valve inline. If so, I would assume this transom water inlet would be ported to the pump somewhere there close. If it does, you could shut that off and then flush with fresh water.
