Hello, I know most if not all boats have some water in the bilge. However, I try and keep it clean and dry as possible. I get water in the bilge when it rains, even with the cover on the cockpit area. The timing was finally right, where I can get down there when it was raining really hard. Water was coming out of the drain through in the engine area (see picture). This opening is behind the starboard engine, on the outside wall under the starboard fuel tank. just wondering if anybody can tell me what drains into the boat that would come out of this opening, I am thinking maybe the water coming in the side vents. Just thought I would ask, I like a clean dry bilge!! As always thanks for any thoughts.

(Previous post is a joke and should not be taken as a serious troubleshoot procedure!) But at least you now know HOW the water is getting in there!

LOL, I am happy I know where it is coming from and really happy its fresh water!!! and not salt water.
Where in Tidewater are you located?
