water coming out from engine ??

OP, before these guys buy and install a new engine for you. Get in there , up close and personal, and tell us what you see. Tap it with a hammer, or stab it with a screwdriver if it is a crack or cracks. 1 guy has xray vision and the other 1 says forget about JB weld, it will never work

Jesus H. Christ! I'll defer and bow down to the superior mind here. I give up! You're right, I'm wrong. There, do you feel better about yourself? I said cylinder wall when I meant the outside of the block directly adjacent to the number 4 cylinder where the cracks are clean through the cast iron. I was writing that at 1 AM and exhausted, so I apologize Sir; so very much Sir, for using the incorrect terminology to express myself. I will forever be ingratiated to you for making me see the errors of my ways, and now everyone here on CSR is safe from any potential errors from me in the future. Thank you again for showing me the light!

Have a great winter everyone!

Oh gee...I almost forgot...

thanks to all. I have checked the oil and there is no water in it. I looked at the block a little better and noticed the main leak was above the crack thats in the picture. In fact is a much worse crack and the lower side of the crack is protruding out about 1/16 of an inch and 1 1/2 inches long!!! That explains the 'stream' of water shooting out the side.

I guess this means you think the OP is a moron too, huh Smart Guy?

Have a nice day!
