My holding tank has hit the 3/4 mark over winter and I can't reason that it has been from use. Is it possible that the o-ring on the cap has gone bad and it is leaking rain water and washdown water into the tank? Anyone had this happen?

How was your boat stored over the winter? Inside, outside, in the water? Uncovered or covered?

I highly doubt it would've gone THAT bad in that short amount of time - especially if everything seemed normal last year. Now, if you feel it was filling up faster than expected last season then, yeah, the cap o-ring could be bad.

How does the o-ring look?

Is this "3/4" based on a gauge, or are you physically looking at the tank? Maybe the 3/4 float is stuck.

Are you sure it was empty when you winterized?

And... Are you positive that it's water in the tank? Could someone have been using your head over the winter?

Mine read full untill i put her in the water, then it read empty again ? Just wierd i guess.Especially since it was indoor heated storage and i replaced the pump out hose before launch this year.

It appear to actually be at the 3/4 mark, using a flashlight on the tank.. It was outside from September until January, then I moved to a covered slip.
