I have a 2007 Sea Ray 270 Select SLX with under 50 hours. Bought brand new from dealer with 20 hours and got extended warranty. Recently the boat has been over-heating when using thru hull exhaust and now over heats under regular operation. Sea ray is saying that the impellars need to be changed once a year and are not covered under warranty. Also they say that there is a blockage and need to remove the transam and drive shaft to clear it and that is also under warranty. The only reason they gave for the blockage was that salt built up from not flushing. We hardly use the boat and flush for 15+ minutes every use. Sounds like we are getting screwed, what is covered under warranty. the first sea ray we had for ten years never had one blockage or replaced the impellar. Sounds like the new boats have design flaws. we love the boat but not the service or warranty issues, anyone have suggestions or similair issues
