Did you ever find a source? I'm looking for the same sort of thing for our 1987 24' Sorrento. Haven't had much luck yet.

I've been looking for a camper enclosure for apprx 2 years; 1987 SR Sundancer 268.
STILL no luck.:smt021

I came close to having one made, but cost was over 1K, so I held back.

Good luck...............If you find anything
:thumbsup:pLEASE LET ME KNOW:thumbsup:

I'm still looking myself. No luck yet. I occasionally see them advertised with used boats so I might see if those owners might be willing to part out the camper enclosure. But if I do find anything I will make sure that I post my results back here.

If you guys see one for a 1984 270 let me know. Same here. I just might take up sewing with the price of these things

Just a quick update. I'm still looking and getting some quotes. I've also learned a few things from the other threads about how a bimini top may already have the zippers installed to hang the sides, etc., as mentioned in this thread http://clubsearay.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27014&highlight=camper .

My wife said for the cost of the things she'd give it a shot at making one for 50% of what was being quoted :) [laughing]

I'm seriously considering letting her try but I figure I'd try a few more quotes first.

I'll check back with an update when I get some more quotes back. If we do end up going the "make it ourselves route" then we'll post the details of our attempt(s). Which now has me wondering if anyone has posted a "how to" online somewhere? I think I'll look around on the web and see if I can find anything.

Well, a quick check did come up with a couple hits.

another interesting link was for a kit for a bimini top. While not a camper top it might allow for a jumpstart on a larger project. there may be a lot of other links but that was a quick look to see what was out there.

I did a google search with the terms "making boat canvas" (without the quotes)
