I am looking for a camper enclosure for a 280DA, 2004. I have the front bimini but nothing else. If anyone has a used one that might work let me know. A little sticker shocked at what a new one costs.

When you say “sticker shock” are you looking at a local custom job or did you call Great Lakes, the OEM supplier for Sea Ray for a off the shelf replacement where you install and mount the snaps yourself?

About 1x/year Great Lakes has a sale. Other members here may be able to tell you when / how much off.

Ballpark its a $2,000 item.

The great lakes OEM replacement during their annual sales with you installing will be your lowest cost option.

Did you price thru a dealer or elsewhere, how big a shock did you get?

I highly suggest you try to rent a motor home or camper before you get one. It is a great way to see if its a good fit to your needs. For some reason its just not the same when you look at a travel trailer brochure. There are several good trailer rental places like cruise america and owners rental. There is also a new one called rv rental out let. I have had good results with all 3 before deciding on my winnebago.

Now that is funny. Please re-read the question, in it's proper context in a -boating- forum! I don't think he's looking to purchase a camper to place within his 280 Sundancer. But if he is, I too would suggest he get a rental one first...

I purchased a tonneau cover for the bow of my boat earlier in the season when Great Lakes had their % off sale. Usually in the late spring I think? I'd have to look when I ordered because I can't remember the exact time.

Guys, it’s a “Google Bomb” spam post.

It has a link with anchor text keywords.

All this person cares about is getting that link from this website to the site he is trying to Google bomb with the words in the anchor text “trailer rental.”

Jim – is there any way to not allow members to put links in posts until they have reached a minimum post count? That should help curve this issue.

My guess is this was all done by a bot, not even a human.
