I need to replace the canvas and glass on my 2000 340 DA. It is currently tan; I prefer to switch to black if I find a complete set, otherwise I will keep the bimini and replace the tan. Fastback or other camper enclosure would be a good alternative. I have already checked with Great Lakes and a few other places but I would like to find a good deal. Finally, if anyone can recommend a good canvas shop (preferably in the Annapolis or Baltimore area) I can research having it custom made. Any help is appreciated!

This is who I used http://weatherstoppercanvas.com/index.html he is in the Baltimore area. Brett's work is excellent, get on his list sooner rather then later as he is always busy. Fastbacks and the squared off camper stuff are functional but hard to look at and really ruin the sleek lines of the boat, Brett can give you some good ideas

Do a search (OMG I hate it when someone says that), actually, don't do a search.......look at the tail end of this thread, http://clubsearay.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13055 a couple of us have posted pictures and explained what we had done.

Sorry for being so snippy, but that other thread has me fired up.

Thanks for the tip. I will definitely check with Brett.

I agree about the grotesque look some of the aftermarket canvas gives, though they do give nice space. I never use the boat with the canvas down anyway; I even cruise in the rain with it up or off. I would buy camper canvas, fastback or conforming if I could get a good deal on it, but to replace it i would go with canvas more true to original. I still hope to get my 48 in the next couple of months so the canvas is primarily to help sell the 340 anyway.
