Does anyone know if its possible to replace the power vent centre of windshield and install hinged walk through 2001 310 Sundancer 350 Mag MPI V Drives

I would guess anything is posssible... They would have to reinforce the left and right sides of the windshield once you remove the center portion. Someone would have to fabricate the center hinged piece, and possible use a custom piece of glass as well. I don't think it would be remotely reasonable from a financial standpoint.
Also, there's no steps built into the cabin door - you'd have to mount some ladder rungs to the left of the door possibly...?
Are you having that many issues using the outside to get to the front of the boat?

I would think that windshield is the easier part of the project. What's your plan on making the steps? If you change the door you need to change or modify the helm. The other option to have some kind of narrow steps added on. My wife really liked that feature on 240DA, but it's not a big deal for me not having it. I also think that having small kids it's better without it.

I,m starting to believe that this is not worth the effort or dollars and may even take away from the value of the boat. Thanks for the input
