Wakeboard tower

I feel silly asking this but why would a person pick a radar arch instead of a wakeboard tower? Cant a person just attach a plate and rocket launchers to a wakeboard tower? The wakeboard towers look more sturdy because of the wider stance they have.

Radar arches are often made from industry-standard 2" (1.9-something, actually) tubing. So there is a plethora of fishing accessories that will clamp/bolt right on without any extra shoring-up or backing plates or thru-bolting.
