Does anyone know exactly how the 12 volt dc vs 120 volt ac works on these refrigerators? I was doing some troubleshooting as my fridge was not working and if I only have 120 ac breaker on and the 12 volt dc breaker off the fridge does not come on. It only comes on with 12 volt dc breaker on. It has a Danfoss 101N0500 controller. I also believe my thermostat is not working properly, I found out if you jump the C and T terminals on controller it bypasses thermostat. I did that and fridge cool well. I assume that when AC breaker is on it auto switches from DC to AC but how do I know this is happening?

You can shut off the 12 volt battery switches at the helm I imagine

My Norcool had a rectifier that jumped the AC to D.C. Local tech Said the unit defaulted to 12 volt. I rectified my issues by replacing the ac/D.C. unit with strait ac frig. My experience was the old frig used far to much D.C. juice when powered on house battery.
Call your local RV guys. They mess with these smaller refrigerators all the time. I'm sure they would tell you how yours works, at least tell you when the info can be found.

Rob did you happen to get this issue fixed yet? Mine just did the same thing, works perfect on 12v but stops when switched to AC

I’d also like to know a fix? Both my weaco fridge and freezer don’t work when on dc. Great when plugged into 120 but nothing when on battery.
New batteries too
