Volvo OceanX Sterndrive

This is Volvo's new ceramic titanium ceramic coated sterndrive according to the most recent issue of the BOAT US Magazine. Just curious if this is the replacement for Volvo's composite clad XDP.

Anyone know?

Yes. They stopped making the XDP, it had quite a few flaws.

Thanks. A friend of mine has a Regal 3350 with twin 8.1s/XDP drives. He has never had a problem with them. However, Volvo has issued at least two bellows bulletins since he bought the boat three years ago. The latest bulletin was issued this past spring/early summer. The repairs were either covered under warranty or a "warranty" bulletin with an expiration date.
