The "rope" edging that sits where the vinyl bulkhead and overhead meet in the master cabin of my 410 Sundancer is coming down in several places. I have tried a hot glue gun and after that failed to hold, I tried Gorilla Glue which also did nothing. I'm looking for suggestions fr some type adhesive or glue that will adhere to vinyl. Thanks in advance.

3 M makes a spray glue that has hi tac- make sure you cover and tape off to protect from over spray

Thanks all, I think Shoe Goo sounds like it may be the cure. If I can find it locally, I'll try it this weekend. Thanks again..

or just 'crazy glue" the one what comes in bottle with tiny brush inside.

A Glue for all seasons

There is an old standby I like ... GOOP!

This is a solvent based crystal clear adhesive. I use in on most anything that defies other glues. Good for boat shoes too!

P.S. - regarding Shoe Goo, I believe it's blue. Therefore, it may not be for you.

Try an automotive supply store and look for a one-part adhesive recommended for vinyl containing a cyanoacrylate system . They aften contain a warning about avoiding contact with skin. The tubes are generally very small and cost $2 or $3. Only a very fine line or small spots are needed on the trim. The lock strength is high and the adhesion is instant.
Good luck,
Warren
