Folks,

Does anybody know the state of Viking Yachts in New Gretna, NJ. I heard they were hit pretty hard but cannot validate....

Thanks

Seems like a legitimate question to me. I didn't go on the Viking forum or the Tiara forum and start asking questions about Sea Ray, so it strikes me as a bit odd that the OP would ask the question here.

Stuck up? Well, no one has ever accused me of that, but, you can be the first.

I've met Rick. Stuck up he is not. Find a different insult.

This is a story about American workers not boats. It just so happens they built fine yachts but it's really about our American bothers and sisters. I for one am interested in how they are doing and hope they are up and running soon!

For Viking, their condition post storm is critical since they have only one facility. If it got a direct hit, they are out of business for a long time.

From the Viking website & their
"Pic of The Day".... We have "some damage but are reopened & working..... rbow1rs.jpg

Ummmmm... do you know this is a Sea Ray forum?

I am well aware this is a Sea Ray forum as I own one and became a member here in April. I have been unable to communicate with my contacts there and was hoping that somebody here may of had some info. Not sure if you have realized this but this storm has impacted other boats, businesses, people besides Sea Ray owners. Honestly, a bit stumped by your response.

I do appreciate the comments from other folks that were actually of value.
