It is that time of the year again, thank goodness! After the most brutal winter in living memory, we were able to ditch the shrink wrap last weekend, as well as get the new poop tank aboard 'Boogaboo IV' in preparation for our spring launch. C'mon summer!!!

Cool video, it's hard to believe you guys still have ice, oh good ending!

We have a 21 foot jetboat and I cover it with a shrink wrap you activate by heat. I have never used the heat on it so it sits loose on the boat. It has a draw string at the bottom I sinch up. have been using the same one since 2008. No holes in it and the boat is dry each time I take it off. Best tarp system I have ever seen.

One of the many things we fair weather boaters miss out on I guess. Is it like unwrapping a giant Christmas present every spring?

Good news is that the ice is finally gone. Mostly. Marina is all clear now. This video was shot a week ago.

Glad you liked the ending. That was no acting on my part, after a LOOOOOOOONG winter, it sure was nice to be outside and back at the boat. An indescribable feeling :)

Stay tuned, as we move aboard full time in a week or two . . .

Didn't want to leave!! We will be living on the boat FULL TIME, starting in a week or so - just gotta get our new holding tank installed. Stay tuned for that video coming soon. . .

Cool video, but it left me thinking...."you hang up." "No, you hang up.." "No, you hang up first" "okay, did you hang up?" "You hang up"

(Just kidding...thanks for sharing)

Sounds like a great idea for your boat, but not workable for our vessel. Way too much windage for it to stay taught - and we get brutal winters here. I look at it as 'cheap' protection for the boat. Too bad we don;'t have any local indoor storage. . .
