The cruiser jumping your wake was pretty impressive as well.
 
I'm generally in agreement with Scott when it comes to the sea lice but you gotta give 'em credit... the boys had skills.
 
These were not reckless teenagers, they were older guys who are responsible and aware of their surroundings. My crew and I enjoyed it and it looks like they did too.

I do not own a jetski or waverunner (yet) and have seen many stupid riders on the water, including aholes flying from the beach where kids are swimming and speeding by my anchored boat with us swimming near the boat - a major accident waiting to happen. But those guys in the video were staying a safe distance from the stern and having a blast. No issue with them having fun. Isn't that what boating and water toys are all about?

There is a jet ski racing club here that has some very talented riders. When I see them coming I'll come down in speed to where I'm juuuuuust coming off plane, the stern is digging in and it sets up a huge wake. They love it and I enjoy watching them. They're good, they know what they're doing and they do it well.

For rookies (they're easy to spot) I come down in speed to where there isn't much of a wake. They get bored and go away.
 
Looked like they knew what each other was going to do and when. Not your typical kids on rentals. I have no issue with it and have made my wake even bigger a few times. I had a kite boarded about 20 yards off my stern last Sat keeping up with me and I was running 21kts. Pretty cool!
 
They were decent but also seem like they understood to stay far enough behind you. There is a group here on the. Delta that do great flips and other tricks and rarely wipe out. We have a couple of guys that don't even need a wake to do some great stunts. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oRnh3diHJT4
 
Great video. Talented riders and not rookies. I don't think the ski was anywhere near the crusier who hit your wake pretty hard. He was probably watching the skis jumping instead of paying attention to his surroundings. Probably broke someones arm when they went flying to the back of the boat.
