This is the set up I got from mercruiser. They didn’t mention anything about stopping power from one engine. Just wondering if it doesn’t apply to something like this?

Call them and ask. I have found their help line to be quite helpful. Also, you don’t want to drive a single power source with two drivers. You could damage one of the engines that way.

Thanks for posting all the info. I just ordered the parts off superwa's list and between Ebay and AMZ it was $596.04. For my 2001 340 AJ with 8.1 Horizons.

I got lucky and a friend of mine had a Rinda tool. Took about 30 seconds to configure the ECM on the port motor. It's right in the directions on the Rinda for the ECM 555.
