I'm contemplating a VesselView 7 upgrade on my 2010 350. I've hunted through some of the threads on the forum with people who've made the upgrade, but I'm looking for any advice on the following:
1- I have a DTS boat. Will I need a new dual engine splitter to connect the engines to VV7? (Or will my existing splitter work?)
2- My current VV has my engine and generator data. Will there be any issues pulling in my generator data into the new VV7?
3- I'll be going from the VV7 to my Raymarine C95. Any hiccups? I'm not anticipating any major issues since the VV7 is an NMEA2000 gateway.
Basically I'm looking for any feedback from anyone with a DTS 310/330/350/370 2008 or newer who has done this upgrade. I'm trying to ensure I've thought through any challenges before I order the hardware.
Any other thoughts are welcome.
