I am looking for the next boat.... quite a few in California that are worth looking at[great prices} Has anyone brought a 44 to 48 ft boat up from LA to the PNW area {Victoria}? I am not sure if Yachtwise transports from there, but if not, may bring back on it's own bottom. Looking at 46 Navigator,48 Mckinna, or 4788 Bayliner{490 Meridian}..... any advice?

My father has the 4788 Bayliner. Quite the nice boat. I was very impressed with it. The ride, handling, fit & finish were incredible. For all you Bayliner naysayers out there, keep in mind that this Bayliner is NOT an "entry level" boat and is quite different then the smaller Bayliners.

Matter of fact, the first thing my father did was to pull the Bayliner tags off of the sides. Doh! The 4588 is just as nice. You lose about a foot and a half, but it is not that much noticeable.
