Does anyone know of any tips on getting it to work again? It turned over a couple of times then died and it's not a fuse :smt100. We know it may mean a new motor but just wondered if anyone else had experienced this at all, before we order one?

Thanks in anticipation!

Had this happen earlier this year.
Disconnect from vent window by removing the "T" bar connector. Working from the deck, unscrew the the ram until you can hear the gears turning. Lubricate with WD40 or lithium grease, reassemble and then cycle it a few times.

I had it happen too. Do what Windjammer recommended, but also clean the electrical connector with contact cleaner. My problem was the connector wasn't making good contact.

Same thing here. It was quite easy to do.

Agree with everyone here. Had the same problem but I think some of mine was on the switch on the dash. Took the unit apart, looked ok. Put it back together and now it works better than ever.

Thanks so much for all the tips! Will keep you posted.

PS Sorry I posted this in the wrong section:) Will try to do better next time!
