Vent window gasket

Hi, anyone know where to get the vent window gasket.. I have a 310 Sundancer 2001, asked Taylormarine and they mentioned that they do not carry this part anymore. Any sugestions, my power vent gasket is on its last legs...

They can have it custom made. They sent me samples of gaskets that they sell by the foot so I could make one but nothing was the correct profile. I had to pay around $300...but no leaks now!

So Taylor did not have the gasket material in their stock, but they found a supplier who's identity they kept to themselves, and hit you with a $300 bill?

From what I gathered, Taylor subs the vent gaskets out to someone else. Most likely the same company that makes the current model gaskets.

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we no longer havethat gasket available. You may want to check with Aluminum 2000 theycarry a lot of older gasket we don't have anymore


This is the answer I got from Taylor marine, now to find out from Aluminum 2000 if they have it....

I don’t believe that is ourwindow, so I wouldn’t have the replacement gasket.

I replaced mine about a year ago, on my 1994 37EC. I called MarineMax in Wrightsville Beach, NC and told them what I needed. They got the stuff to me. I do not know the supplier. The cost was definitely marine grade, but not anywhere near $300.00. I am guessing around $100.00 max.

I called all of my local MM's and they were no help. They referred me back to Taylor. This is the contact that ordered it for me. I looked back and it was actually $250 but they tack on handling fees.
