velvet drive alarm

Noticed today while we were out that when I put my port drive in nuetral either from forward or reverse there is a soft fading alarm coming from the transmission. The alarm is only a second or two long and fades out. Only does it when taking out of gear and not into gear. Checked the fluid and it's good. ANyone with any experience with this alarm?
