Thinking of selling my 2000 340DA. We are on a fixed income and really can't afford to keep it.
I'd like to sell it "AS IS".
It does need some work. Needs new isenglass, ice maker needs repair, Westerbeke genny has a seized raw water pump, one salon cushion needs mending. Bottom paint. General cleaning.
Starboard motor has about 650 hrs and port about 10! (recently replaced) Have paper work.
When I bought it in 2012, it surveyed for $75k. I'm thinking $30K?
Looking for opinions. Thanks

I'll take it for 30k - PM me if your serious - Im in MA - most here will tell you its worth way more

I'd like to move it, but I don't want to take a beating either. It has auto pilot too.
Radar has an error "no response from scanner"
New shower sump and mid bilge pump. Just did duck bills on the head.
Manifolds and risers on both motors replaced when the port motor was done by Anderson Marine.
Maybe I should be asking more?
I don't pay for winter storage so I can hold it until spring if need be.
It's hauling on the 11th.

As I said, I'm in at 30k cash, no survey - can likely come Sunday to do the deal - pm me if you are ready to sell at that price - don't want to waste my time or yours - can completely understand wanting to get as much as you can out of a deal....quick easy as is sale and top dollar rarely go together - you already know holding it till next spring and addressing the small issues would likely net you more....if the economy holds and you don't have to pay for a slip

You might get close to your original purchase price in todays market…. If those small things were fixed you will…. It’s a crazy market these days

You're way low. Looks like in your neck of the woods there are a few listed between $60,000 and $72,000. Figure about $8600 for factory canvas and a few grand for the other issues, you could probably sell tomorrow at $50,000-$55,000 (assuming no structural issues).

i agree with golf. That’s still a 70k boat with just a little bit of work. Fix the ginny.

Fun one here. I'm curious to hear how this turns out!! $30k would be a screaming deal if the boat is as-represented, sometimes unicorn deals do happen!

I hope one of you fine folks will provide us with an update.

The boat hauled out today. It's on the hard now for the winter.
I just threw 30K out as rough start, not a selling price. I just wanted an idea of what you people thought was a good price. From the response, I'm thinking 50K. I may go as low as 45K if I have to sit on it too long. It's a nice boat that needs some TLC.

As others have said a full OEM fit canvas set is $8600. On sale now at about $8,000 or maybe less from Great Lakes Boat tops. Or @KevinC can supply the same.

Mike has it at 30k so far.
I'm not winterizing, wrapping or storing it at that price. Wifey wants it gone.
Now I have to sell the slip at Newburyport Yacht club. LOL.

Update.
The boat is still available for $30K. Keep in mind how far away you are when you make that decision.
Mike can vouch for the condition as he came out and went over it Sunday.

You have a few offers here and haven't acknowledged them? Either that or the PM's didn't work out?

If someone came with $30k cash in-hand and didn't buy it....there must be something else going on here. That is not a $30k boat.
