Vacuum flush system

Maybe this thread and help me. I have a 1992 Sea Ray 350 Express Bridge. After two years of owning this boat, when the head is flushed and a few seconds pass, a rotten poo smell comes into the salon. The VACUFlush system is in the salon, and the holding tank, holding tank vent/filter, and pump-out are below in the engine compartment outside. It is the same smell I get when I pump the system out at the marina. Could it be the holding tank vent filter needs to be replaced?

Could it be the holding tank vent filter needs to be replaced?

That would be my first guess and where I would start especially if you have no knowledge as to how long the filter has been in service.

Hello, I have SeaRay 340DA 1999 and my toilet system is vacuflush. Toilet is working but vacuum pump seem to work very long and start too often. I think it might be a good moment to renew the system. Ppl in this thread mention "Rebuilt Kit" (Second post in this thread). What exactly kit and where I should buy? Advise and even link would be really great!

Thank you!

One thing which is usually very useful but I dont see it on this forum is "User Guide" where experienced ppl answering to usual noobs questions and providing "how to" guides for most popular subjects. Those can be pinned

If they are exist - I would appreciate direct link. I am still very new on this forum and might be missing something

I often use google search with clubsearay.com and a description of what I’m looking for and find info easier.

FWIW - I started the season like you with my system pumping a lot. I took the time to clean the ball on the bottom of the toilet and the seal around it without taking anything apart. After that all was perfect all summer. It may be worth a try.

Hello, I tried to install new Duckbill Valves on my Vacuu Flush (340DA 1999). I have black pump and 1.5" duckbill valves.

Question: Is there two or four duckbill valves at the pump?

Jesus, there should be 4 of them!!! I cant figure how to access two others... Pump mounted with 4 bolts: two are simple, but two other are completely not accessible... how?
