Vacuflush pump won stop running

So let me ask this. How hard is it to pull the bellows out? Also is it possible the front head not holding vacuum would cause the switch on the rear vacuum tank to turn on the vacuum pump.

Let's start with the basics and work from there.

What make, model and year boat?

Do you know if you have the setup in my photo or the setup Rockwood_Joe referred to because the answer is different for the two setups.

Ok. I have a similar system on the 410 and normally each respective vacuum generator does not affect the other. I do not know how it would be possible.

So, describe the symptom or symptoms. Then we diagnose.

Well the thing is if you have one vacuum pump for two vacuum chambers wouldn't that make them connected?

It would. That was was Rockwood_Joe was trying to get across to us.

I am trying to help you out here, but, you are not answering my questions.

What is the make/model/year of the boat?

Sorry it is a 1984 Sea Ray 360 Aft. And I also did a little more digging last night. I unscrewed the cap on the rear tank. I was told that there is a washer inside there that sometimes deteriorates. Supposedly this washer is what helps the rubber pull the plunger that activates the switch back. Any truth to this? Because I see no washer in there.

New to the Vacuflush and have had a similar issue on our 97 280 SS. The head wont stop sucking seems like a second flush clears it up. Bowl holds water overnight and operates properly most of the time its happened twice out of say 20 flushes. Besides shutting the battery selector off I cant seem to find a switch to shut off power to it. Any thoughts? Beginning to think pooping in a bag on the old 24 OV wasn't so bad.
