I did a search but did not find my problem discussed so hopefully someone can save me some more grief. I have a 97 300 with a Sealand VG 112.
when I flush the toilet the VG 112 motor keeps running with the pump arm going and I have replaced the toilet ball and all toilet seals, I have done the duck bills and all the gaskets in the pump. The toilet works fine but the pump keeps running so where do I go next to solve my problem?

Thanks in advance for your help

Also check to see if you have hose leaks. Easily done by removing the input hose to the pump (the one coming from the head). Block off the intake (I am able to just hold my hand over the pipe), then turn on the pump. If it stops running and holds a vacuum then you probably have a hose leak.

+1 on the pressure switch as the likely culprit.

Or the plunger in the pump has a leak and won't build pressure. The vacuum switch very seldom goes bad. Flush dawn down and look at the pump. If you see bubbles on the top of the pump there you go.

That's of course you have new duckbill valves all 4.

the admiral thinks at the end of last year I did the new pressure switch cause she remembers it came with instructions that said factory set no adjustments required but thank you for the recommendation.

I will do the inlet test to see if its on the hose and or toilet side. Also if the dawn bubbles out of the pump what is the parts needed to fix this problem? thanks for your help

I just solved this problem last week. I replaced the duck valves and that increased the vacuum, but the culprit was the Bellow. The bellow cost me $112.00 installed it and the 2 O rings and works fine. As Mike stated above, a little soapy water on the top will provide you with bubbles, if so it is the bellow.

wanted to say thank you to you guys for your help. After the dawn into the toilet It was the bellows but I did the 4 duck bills and all the toilet seals just to keep up good maintenance plus had to back off the vacuum switch a bit but now all is well and good. thank you again.

I'm going to have to do the same job tomorrow. Just got the parts..............
