I seem to be having the opposite problem of most people. We were on the hook for several days. On our final day the Vacuflush pump stopped working.
Facts:
Had the pump out boat come by that morning.
Verified breaker is on.
Exercised the vacuum switch on the end of the vacuum tank.
Jumpered the vacuum switch.
Have NOT checked voltage at the pump although connections look okay.(Didn't have multimeter).
Ball valve is opening and closing when foot pedal is depressed.
Question:
Wouldn't the vacuflush pump be drawing a lot of amps if the motor was bad?
Several days went by before returning to the boat to do the above troubleshooting and the pump still didn't come on.
thanks in advance for the replies

P.S. I did a search but couldn't find anything related to my issue. Most people have a problem with the pump staying on.
