Vacuflush Overboard discharge

Hello

My overboard discharge does not switch on when I open the valve through the hull. The level seems to be connected to some wires so I assume it must start a pump.

I have the key in the head turn on & not sure if anything else need to be on to make this work .

Here is a photo of the pipe and level

I also know about discharge laws & would like this working when I am way off the coast

You should have a macerator pump that operates off of the 12 volt panel. Keep the discharge valve open as it is in your picture and turn the breaker on for the macerator pump and it evacuates the black water tank. Close the through hull valve when the tank is empty. Should take less than a minute to empty the tank.

Those wires Don't go to that valve.... They prob go to the Bilge pump or the depth finder right next to it... When using the boat/running that valve needs to be closed and zip tied or clamped in the off position as well... If it's not working and your pump is running you prob need to change your duck bill valves .
