If it's any consolation I finally fixed mine and here is what I learned.
1. My boat is 15 years old, if I had to do it again and knew what I know now, I would just do a complete rebuild and do it once.
my leak actually ended up being in the vacuum generator tank. I replaced the Duckbills, Bellows, Pump Orings, Vacuum generator tank, vacuum pressure switch orings, diptube orings, and the hose from the vacuum generator to holding tank.
All in, it would have been much less frustration to have done this right the first time and not tried to save 200 bucks.
