Help, new to 2008 260DA and boats and the previous owner and myself can’t figure out (FaceTime) why there is no power to the Vacuflush head. Panel switch is on in the 12v side but no power to head. Key is turned on and no light on small panel. Boat was just surveyed and all systems worked. Is there a separate fuse for the head? We can’t seem to find one.

Silly question... is your battery switch(s) on?

Do you have any DC power?

Battery switches are on under the sink in the back under the sink and in the panel board in the cabin.

The head, itself, doesn't have any electricity going to it, just water.

What exactly isn't working? Vacuum or water?

Did you verify with a test light or DMM that there is no power at the switch next to the head? Did you verify that that there's power on the load side of the breaker in MDP?

The vacuum does not work, water does fill in. The panel switch remains dark despite pushing the two buttons and turning the key on and off. How can I verify the power to the load side of the breaker? I am not familiar with that but can definitely check if you please share any insights.

Start with the key switch - pull the panel and check for proper voltage - at each little pop-out breaker and key switch (both line and load side). Could be a bad key switch or little breakers. You could jump the key switch to verify, if needed. Otherwise, then pull the MDP out and check. Does the breaker at the MDP reset "solidly"?

Also... check wires at vac pump in bilge.
