Vacuflush again

Sorry for another vacuflush thread but I couldn't find anything on this particular problem. When I flush and release the pedal the fresh water fill will not stop running. It has done this sporadically over the past year and a half but today it finally won't stop at all. Any idea what part I need to locate and more basically how to I get the pedal off? I don't see any hardware to take that apart and I don't want to force anything. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks....good info there and I found a couple videos that at least get me started on taking it apart.
