Vacu flush question

You can take the inlet hose off the inlet fitting on the tank and block it off to see if the pump generates vacuum and shuts off. If it does, work upstream. If it doesn’t, it’s in your pump somewhere

had a similar situation and found it to be one of the pvc fittings. Had to be methodical with troubleshooting one thing at a time
Yes, this is my next move. If there is no vacuum in the tank or it doesn't shut off, I'll re-take apart the duckbills and bellows along with O rings and make sure they were properly oriented. Thanks.

Another thing to check.... My buddy had a leak like this and in his case a screw from the pump mount came off (lots and lots of vibrating on that pump) and it fell inside of the bellows and ended up tearing the bellows at one of the ribs - so it was not easy to see. And it could also be torn from other reasons - stray screws from other sources, etc. SO when you take apart the housing, I'd pull the bellows right out and test for tears.

We’ll it turns out that Vacuum was not being created bc I accidentally threw away one of the bellows O rings during re-assembly. My bad! It’s now on order from Marinesan.com.

After replacing the new bellows O ring the system STILL could not maintain vacuum! So I finally started playing around with the pressure switch and decided to replace it as a last option.....well that finally solved the problem! While I cannot be sure of the exact problem with the old switch, the gasket on the new switch is robust and the old switch gasket was very flat and probably allowing the vacuum leak. I am very glad to be done with that summer long issue.

You give me hope that one day I will fix mine. Constant pump for me too, but at least it does suck the waste anyway into the holding tank pretty nicely.

Duckbills replaced.
New vacuum switch installed.
Now I hear a hiss from the bottom of the accumulator tank (mine is an older system in which the vacuum is maintained in a white cylinder the size of a mini keg). So something has gone bad under there, probably the seal between the tank and the street ell. Of course while the starboard engine is installed it's almost inaccessible... But only almost, so I will spend several unpleasant and painful hours upside down in the bilge trying to unscrew the fitting.
