Vacu flush keeps running

Until myou actually dive into a head repair personally you just have to take soething son faith.

Never put anything down your Vacuflush that didn't go through you or proper toliet paper. I do not even add deodorants as they often have oil components to float on the surace to hold down smells.

Sealand makes some cleaners and some deordoants, but I just use a spray nine cleaer on the closed bowl and then wipe out with paper towels and to the trash with the waste.

The Super Lube I use is well "Super Lube" silver tube stuff silicone based.

I use about a gob the size of a match head on the seals, too much holds gunk. :smt038

Bringing this one back to life. Mine cycles around once an hour for about 10 seconds. Replaced the duckbills and bowl seal, not resolved. Water stays in the bowl. It's only an issue because I sleep in the aft cabin and it wakes me up.

2 things to try: The "donut" where the 90 degree PVC pipe enters that tank. Replace, and I used silicone between the donut and tank as well.

Also, the vacuum switch. The switch itself could be leaking, but most likely the 2 o-rings.

Once I did all the work you have done and these 2 things, mine holds a vacuum for weeks.

Or you could just turn it off at night, just turn it on when needed.

I’ve just been through this whole process when my new to me boat went in the water this spring.

Something I don’t see mentioned is the bellows.
One of mine had a hole in it and therefore would not cut off.

There are also two tiny o-rings for the flush valve that extend into the toilet were the ball attaches. In time the o-rings flatten out and suck air around the shaft.

I thought about turning it off at night as well while sleeping, but then that would be the one time one of us goes to use it with no vacuum and there's a big old number two in there.

My vacu flush pump keeps running . I found out that it was the pressure switch, the one that has the sping in the center of it that senses the vacume pressure. So I bought a new one from Marine Max and the spring on the new one was a lot heavyer than the old one that I took off, so I installed it anyway and the pump will still not shut off no matter how long I let it run. Any Ideas anyone:smt100
