A friend has a 1996 sedan bridge 400. Yesterday his toilet would through the breaker when he flushed. Any ideas on what would cause this? Anyone know the pump make and model?

Most likely the vacuum pump motor. Or, a weak breaker. I would see how hot the motor gets when it works. That will tell you a lot.

Pumps will trip breaker when clogged down stream. Just went through this, our master head was tripping breaker. We actually had to replace the hose from pump to holding tank. The line was clogged solid with years of calcium build up.

Yup, most likely a clog someplace.
I had that happen and the vac-pump was bunged up with TP all around the bellows causing it to have to work much harder and tripping the breaker.

Crappy, but simple job to clean out..once the pump is out of the bilge.

I will pass on the advice. I advised him to get rebuild kits, duck bills etc since it is not east to get at, change them while he has the chance.
Anyone know the model of the pump?
