I just purchased a 2000 310DA with 5.7 Horizon MPI inboard with V-Drives. Anyone know who manufactured the V-drive? I received no manuals with the boat.

Most probably Velvet Drive (Borg Warner) but could be either Hurth or ZF as Sea Ray has used all 3. Hurth and ZF have a serial # plate in the center of the drive near the top but I forget where the Velvet Drive plate is. You can get transmission model, serial number and ratio from the mfg plate.

Velvet drive plate is also on an upper surface, but I think it's down near the mounting legs
