My wife and I got a 3" gel memory foam --- queen size to augment the odd shape V Berth. We did have to piece two small pieces of the shape to get this to work. We also bought knit queen sized sheets because they have more give to conform to the shape. Tucked the sheet completely around and under the cushions --- fit perfectly and they DO NOT come off. We tried jumping up and down on them.. just kidding LOL.

Here are the picture of progress and finished product and we have tested it out. Makes for a superb nights sleep:

Nice! Where did you purchase the memory foam?

Got the memory foam from eBay and arrived at my door in about 3 or so days. Was about $100 and worth every cent.

Hope this info helps someone else.

Btw we used an electric knife to cut it lol

LOL, I was just going to edit my post and ask how you cut it...

Did exactly the same, only this time I got full foam and not the egg crate foam. Same difference on the foam. Makes a WORLD of difference on the back!

A friend did this with a memory foam with gel cooling beads. Turned into a mess when cutting it and since, as the cooling gel beads keep coming out of the edges where cut. Avoid any with gel / cooling gel if possible.

Costco is a great place to get memory foam mattresses.

Ditto on Costco. Good pricing on the 3" memory foam topper. We got the queen size for our 380DA. I may cut it some day but it works pretty good as is and fits standard sheets. With all the bedding on you can not tell. Looks great. The difference in comfort was unbelievable.

Thanks everyone. Now I need to chat with my wife about making her own sun pad.... heck if I'm paying $500-$600 for one LOL. She's crafty and can make it.... :)
