Good Morning,

I am considering a used Sundancer (anywhere from approx about 2005 to 2012) and am curious as at what point (size-wise) does the headroom in the cabin and the head meet/exceed 6 feet.

I'd like to purchase Sundancer where I can actually stand up when taking a shower. While at the Atlantic City boat show this week, I noticed that many boats had 6' headroom in the cabin but the head itself was slightly lower.

Just wondering if the headroom meets 6' at the 290, 300, 310, 330, etc? Also, if the year makes a difference.

Thank you,

My 1998 270 has better than 6' headroom in the cabin and head, FWIW. The head is definitely less than the cabin, but still exceeds 6'.

When I was looking for a Sundancer many years ago I found I couldn't stand up in the 300 but could in the 330, so I bought a 330. The showers in the 330 (mine was a 96) had plenty of headroom for my 6'1" bod.

Since you are looking at boats in the 2005-2012 time frame your going to want to start your search at a 300 dancer. 300 will be tight, the 320 will be just right and the 340 has plenty of room for my 6'2" 250lbs frame.

Thank you all for the quick replies.

And in the spirit of openness, I'm about 5'11" and 265ish.

Also, I'm not necessarily tied to specific years, as I don't know when any important updates were mad to specific models. So if possible, I'd like to stay as "current" as possible with a given model. For example if the last significant updates were made in say 2007, then I'd like 2007 or newer. But if not much has changed since 2001 for a given model than I am not against saving some $ and getting something slightly older.

Is there a good website that has the specs for the different models and years as far as cabin and head headroom?

Thank you,

Take into account the label only size increases play into that.
