Does anyone know of a good documentation company? I live in new hampshire, but would imagine that it does not need to be a local thing to process.
Thanks,

You can do it yourself and save some $$$. Visit http://www.uscg.mil/hq/cg5/nvdc/ for the information. Last boat (first one I had documented) cost me $300 + 8 yrs ago -This one I did myself and it was about $125 with all of the other forms I needed to send because the boat was purchased from a bank (repo). A little time consuming with follow up (they needed a copy of the PO bank note - since it was already documented) but after 2 months everything was GTG. All the forms are up on their web site and you can do most by fax or email. Good luck - Jeff
I was told by my dealer that I do not need documentation; however, one bank I got a quote from said I did since my boat was 36'. I was told by the bank that the documentation was required on the intracoastal waterways and would cost $375. Since I am about 1,000 miles away, I questioned why it was needed and went with another bank for the loan. So is documentation needed or not?

suppose the boat its paid in full ? its necessary documentation here in Florida?
