Upgrading Electronics / SR Nav not booting

What are popular upgrades for the nav electronics? I have the C120 and a SR Navigator. The Navigator is now refusing to Boot up and hangs on a boot screen. I have been thinking of upgrading for a while but now the E120s aren't in production. Are there any popular combinations people are using on the 400/420/44 class boats or other similar vessels? Kind of a bad time to buy a Raymarine system... they just announced their new e7 displays

I assume that design will go to bigger systems in the next year or so... The e7 looks pretty impressive with things like built in wifi broadcasting and such. I'm a little burnt on Raymarine though. Even the new e7 systems don't support the networking from the e series from a few years ago.... Plus their crappy compass still irritates me.

Why don't you send your SR navigator in to be upgraded itself, there's a company on the internet that takes trades and provides service on them? just a suggestion.

That's like spraying Glad air freshener on piece of poop. It'll stink again in a month or so.

A vivid analogy. My c120 screen is scraped up, I want to add a fishfinder and use a few new bells and whistles etc. So if I can skip the cost of fixing the SRN then that gets me a little closer to my new system. That was my thought process.

Did an Upgrade myself this weekend, Upgraded the Subwoofer to a JL Audio 10" sub and 6 JL audio 6.5" Speakers that didn't fit, to small so I have to get the right ones that fit, But Damn I'd like a E120.. but I guess I have to wait NOW???? What is this all about.
