Upgrade to VesselView 7

Considering to upgrade my 2011 350 Sundancer's orginial VesselView 1.5 to VesselView 7. The boat has twin Mercruiser 377 MAG DTS engines. Mercury confirms that the VesselView 7 is compatible for my boat. Is the upgrade installation plug and play something that I can do myself or do I need a dealer to do it?

No fully plug & play...

You have more equipment, like chartplotter or nmea2000 network? If yes, which model

Planning to install a Raymarine Axiom that will connect to NMEA 2000 network.

All needed 'adapter' cables are included, and follow the instructions. In general, not to difficult.

NMEA2000 is a separate network (own power supply), but you can link VV7 with Axiom, so device can 'share' information.
