The Admiral and I decided to take a short cruise on the Potomac this past Sunday afternoon (while taping the Redskins game on the DVR at home). After disconnecting shore power, I decided to take a couple of photos with my new iPhone camera.
The sun was really bright and reflecting off the boat when snapping the shots. I was facing northwards, the time was about noon and it was really difficult to see the image on the iPhone screen because of the glare.
We had just partially taken the aft canvas down, unzipped from the bimini, but leaving it snapped to the gunwhale on the starboard side. It was layed down on the deck of the starboard aft cockpit. We normally take it completely down, but we were only going on a short trip and this way was much easier on us.
Here are the two photos I shot. It was so difficult to see the screen, I didn't attempt any more.
We had a wonderful cruise on a nearly deserted river and got back just before dark. After arriving home I got to watch the Skins defeat the Jets in overtime.:smt038
