Boat Info
1984 unknown and will update when I can confirm
Engines
305 228
I picked up an abandoned boat on a foreclosed property from a family member. The only info I could confirm was it's an 84 and 21' 8" length, I believe it's a Monaco 200. Would anybody be able to identify the model?

There was no key, anybody know how to pick up replacements?

The pictures show the before and after power washer cleaning.

Seems like you could call SeaRay with that Hull ID, and they could tell you everything you need to know about it.

I'm gonna say 84' SRV197 Monaco

Best of luck and welcome to CSR!

I wouldn't worry about getting a key made. I'd switch out the ignition module for new and check the wiring, while I'm behind/under the dash. They are fairly common item at marina stores and online marine part websites.

I would just change out the ignition switch. That's what I did with my 72 SRV 190. No key and the switch didn't look like it would work anyway. Went to West Marine and bought a new one that looks just like the original and got two new keys with it and added a kill lanyard. It does say V200 on the SR plate. SRV 200.

I've contacted Sea Ray, waiting to hear back.
Is there anything special I need to know about getting a new ignition? Serial numbers, type, etc?

Nice. I'm not even sure if it will run, last registration was 2012. The tires are in good shape, lights work, the oil looks good, it has a winterized tag on the steering wheel. All signs say it should fire up but I'm not looking to drop a ton into it without knowing how/if it runs. I live in Michigan so it's still cold and I have no place to work on it that is temp controlled. It's going to have to wait until March or April to see what kind of mess it's in. The price was right though.

WOW that's a nice looking boat and trailer.

Try to get some ownership paperwork (title, bill of sale, or registration transfer) before putting any real money into it so you don't waste your time and money.

Looking forward to a few more pictures.

I've already transferred the title at the secretary of state, it was abandoned on a foreclosed property since 2013ish, a lot easier than I thought haha. The hull and trailer are in B/B+ shape. The interior was used by a family of racoons and mice..it smelled like death with about 1,000lbs of trash. My last boat was an 84 Seville so I'm kind of familiar with a lot of the inner workings of this one.

Good excuse to redo the interior anyway, you may want to inspect everything on the boat with rodent infestation.

I just noticed something else. Does anyone know what this is? I searched for "lowrance radar". The only items I could find are massive, something that would be on a much larger boat. Thoughts??

I should also mention no depth finders or sonar displays came with the boat, just the cords for them

Awesome. Thanks guys!

It appears it might be the lowrance GPS Point 1, which gets pretty good reviews. The compatible displays look pretty nice.

My apologies if I seem inept about the boat. Again, this was left in a field with zero info or manuals.
